Lesson Design & Objectives
This section showcases a selection of lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools developed for secondary English learners. Materials reflect structured lesson design, clear learning objectives, scaffolded tasks, and alignment with CEFR-informed outcomes. Included resources demonstrate my approach to lesson pacing, differentiation, and assessment planning across mixed-ability classrooms.
Lesson Plan
This lesson plan illustrates my approach to teaching beginner-level learners in a secondary school context. The lesson features clear language targets, step-by-step scaffolding, and frequent comprehension checks to support student confidence and participation. Activities are designed to promote meaningful communication while maintaining a supportive, structured classroom environment for lower-proficiency learners.

Assessment Design
Mid-Term Exam Example
The previous half-semester plan concludes with a summative midterm assessing students’ understanding of cultural themes and their ability to express ideas using appropriate B1–B2 level academic English. The exam evaluates reading comprehension of culture-related texts, written responses comparing cultural perspectives, and listening tasks focused on interpretation and analysis. Assessment criteria emphasize clarity of ideas, language accuracy, and effective use of topic-specific vocabulary.
